Welcome to the Plume of Feathers
We are a 17th century traditional Cornish coastal pub, offering hand pull beers and great food. Colin & Paul Marriott, yes twins, you’re not seeing double, took over the Plume from Graham Thomas in October 2013 after Grahams mighty 35 year reign and are indebted to him for his grace and support. His legacy of a friendly welcoming pub continues to be paramount. We are building a great team here at the Plume. With the refurbished ‘Upper Deck’ Dining room for relaxed dining and private functions and the introduction in early 2015 of 5 B&B suites above the Plume. We will keep you posted on the progress on our accommodation. We are passionate about our food and will promote and use local suppliers and fresh ingredients wherever possible. We recognise good beer matters and a full range of St Austell Breweries craftsman brewed cask ales will always be on offer. With one or two invited guest ales, our current guest ale is Proper Job, a powerful hot golden bitter. They are complemented by a fine selection of bottled beers, lagers and wines from around the world.
We have 5 beautifully appointed en-suite B&B rooms above the Plume. We have applied a lot of thought and time to the design and finishing of each room, to ensure your time spent with us will be as relaxing as possible and you will have everything you need to hand.
